An incredibly useful work that explores the history of fiqh. I teach this book in my masjid. Very pertinent, detailed, clear and well referenced. I strongly suggest this book to all who wish to explore this subject and are confused or need clarification about madh-habs. It is among the best books on the subject that I have read. I had to obtain my copy at a convention because I could not find it at the bookstores I frequent.
