Recitation of the Quran is a form of worship that requires perfection as far as possible. Tajweed is an Islamic science designed to ensure that. It is defined as: the recitation of the Quran as it was revealed to Muhammad (S), the Messenger of Allah.
Allah, The Most High says, "and recite the Quran with measured recitation." [The Qur'an S73:V4]. The Prophet (S) said, "Such a person as recites the Quran and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven)..." (Al-Bukhari)
This program aims at developing excellence and precision in reciting the Words of Allah. It is based on the popular book 'A Brief Introduction to Tajweed' by Umm Muhammad, a copy of which is included. The program teaches proper pronunciation of Arabic letters and the basic rules of Tajweed with examples and exercises. Also included is an instructional recitation of short surahs by Shaykh Mohammad Al-Raee, which gives the student an opportunity to recite each verse after him a classical proven method for memorizing and learning the Quran.
Umm Muhammad is the author of numerous works on Islamic topics, including her popular translation of the Quran by Saheeh International.
Shaykh Mohammad Al-Raee, an expert in Tajweed, is not only certified from Al-Madina Al-Munawwara, but a link in a chain of authentic reciters going directly back to the Prophet Muhammad (S) as well.

Assalamu alaykum!
This a 47-page book with three CDs. The book and CDs are of very good quality and have exceptionally beautiful design.
Here are some of the reasons why this book did not work for me:
[1] Though the book contains tons of Tajweed rules, they are described in a very short manner. It contains no exercises that actually help you to follow those rules and pronounce letters accordingly.
[2] The 3 CDs of the book are almost useless. The description of the program reads "The program teaches proper pronunciation of Arabic letters and the basic rules of Tajweed with examples and exercises." This is not true.
The CD#1 is basically an e-book version of the 47-page paper book. It just reads the paper version of the book word to word. Thus, the CD#1 is useless unless you cannot read the actual book and prefer listening to it while driving. I don’t think you can benefit from listening it while you drive because. As I mentioned above, the book contains tons of Tajweed rules but gives very short description to them and has no pronunciation exercises.
The CD#2 and CD#3 contain slow recitation of the most common and shortest suras from the Qur’an. The reader tells you that it is read slowly with short breaks in between so that you can read yourself and try to pronounce it. This may be a useful function. But you don’t need to buy a book and 3 CDs for 25 USD just for that. This function can easily be found online.
As a student eager to study Tajweed I was expecting that CDs would contain exercises that help you to recognize the signs and pronounce them correctly. If you are looking for this feature in Tajweed books with CDs, this is definitely not the book you have to go for.
Overall, the book is definitely overpriced because it just describes Tajweed rules and provides no single exercise to improve your pronunciation. The 3 CDs it comes with do not have direct relation to your learning process of Tajweed. You can only use them once you can read and pronounce correctly.
