Shipping Insurance for US Domestic Packages

Add this item to add insurance for domestic US Mail (including Media, Priority or Express Mail service) and UPS packages. With insurance, your order will be covered up to the insured amount in case of damage or loss in the mail system.  For each quantity increase you can add up to $100 insurance. For example, if your order total is $150 and you choose US Mail, you need to add 2 qty to basket.

UPS automatically covers packages up to $100. For example, if your order is $165 and being shipped by UPS, you only need to add 1 insurance item. We strongly recommend shipping orders over $75 by UPS as it is much more reliable and packages don't get lost unlike with the US Mail (USPS).

If insurance is not taken, Dar-us-Salam, will not be responsible for damage or loss once the package leaves our facility. In the unfortunate event of loss or damage, you will need to contact us and send us a letter describing the exact situation which we can provide the insurance company.
