Umrah is often overshadowed by Hajj in most guidebooks. Generally amalgamated with Hajj in these books, Umrah receives secondary treatment at best and is not described with the same attention to detail that the Hajj receives. While similar to Hajj in many respects but also with its share of important distinctions, author Abu Muneer's singular focus on Umrah is sure to benefit the thousands who desire to perform Umrah but are unaware of its guidelines.
