"Islamic Etiquette" is actually a series of chapters appended from the well known work, "Minhaj-ul-Muslim," written by Sh. Abu Bakr Al-Jazairi. In "Islamic Etiqutte," Al-Jazairi discusses islamic etiquette concerning interperson al communication between parents and children, children and elders, husbands and wives, and individuals with all others in larger society.
Additionally, "Islamic Etiquette" details the proper ways to relieve and wash oneself, and how to eat and drink. The entire discussion, of course, is informed by and based on the Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam. There is perhaps no greater need today than a frank discussion of Islamic etiquettes; migration to non-Muslim countries as well as the infiltration into Muslim societies of non-Islamic ideals and attitudes about life and society has driven a wedge between Muslims and their foundational values. Al-Jazairi's work has thus a very practical use and will help all families rediscover the type of character Islam sought to create.
